Fraxinus pennsylvanica 'Lednaw'
- A narrow growing selection with a controlled habit
Features:
- Outstanding lustrous green foliage that maintains a healthy appearance during summer.
- Moderately ovate to narrowly conical habit. Upright.
- Foliage dense. Deep green pinnate leaves with five to nine leaflets that turn to a good yellow in autumn.
- Fruit - reported (overseas) to be seedless.
- Bark - attractive grey to dark greyish-brown. Becoming ridged and furrowed with age.
Suggested Uses:
- Excellent for planting where lateral space is limited.
Water Requirements:
- Very tough once established. Reported to tolerate urban conditions, high wind and low levels of drought.
Care:
- Performs best in moist, well drained soils in full sun.
