PROPAGATION MANAGER

Are you obsessed with plant science, high strike rates, and taking plants from cutting to crop?

​

We are looking for an experienced, highly driven Propagation Manager to lead our propagation department and maintain the highest standards of plant quality.

​

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven Experience: Direct, hands-on experience in plant propagation is essential.

• Problem Solver: A sharp eye for troubleshooting health, hygiene, and environmental controls.

• Self-Driven: Takes full ownership of the department, schedule, and results.

• Plant Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for nursery production and plant care.

THE ROLE

• Oversee daily propagation setup and scheduling

• Monitor misting, media, and root development

• Track batch success and refine propagation protocols

• Maintain rigorous hygiene and plant health controls

Production Nursery Team Member 🌿

Love plants and looking to build a real career in the nursery industry? Westland Nurseries is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, hands-on team member to join our crew!

If you thrive in the outdoors, enjoy working in a close-knit team, and are ready to jump right in, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions caring for and handling plants.

• Daily nursery tasks, including stock movement, order picking, and some repetitive physical duties.

• Using basic computer applications and digital tools for daily stock management and operations.

• Working closely with a small, dedicated team to keep the nursery running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for Plants: A genuine interest in horticulture and building a future in the industry.

• Immediate Availability: Ready to start as soon as possible.

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers and mobile apps for workplace tasks.

• Team Player: Reliability and strong communication within a small team setting.

• Desirable Extras: Nursery experience and a valid Forklift Licence (both are a big bonus, but not essential if you have the right attitude!).
